SDC Appliances prides itself on Superior Service, Designer Options and Customer Solutions. Founder and CEO, David Glickman stands by these values. His thirty years in the appliance industry have provided him with invaluable insight into what the builder and retail customer needs and expects.

Glickman started his career in the commercial appliance industry in the 1970’s. He joined Hollywood Appliance in the early 80’s, which was a leader in the builder distribution market. With David’s help and sales expertise, Hollywood Appliance expanded to Florida Builder Appliances. Florida Builder's was then acquired by a large corporate conglomerate (Sears Holdings), which Glickman left after four years of service. Glickman went on to work with major contractors on large exclusive residential products and is still currently involved with Coastal Construction (Trump Royale), James A. Cummings (Coconut Grove Residences), Gryphon Construction (Peninsula II) and many other noted developers.

Glickman is often asked to lend his expertise on product placement by developers and architects while the projects are still in the planning stage. He works from blueprints assuring that the correct appliances are placed in appropriate markets.

One of SDC Appliances unique customer services includes meeting the client at their home to see their kitchen and discuss their actual needs. They will then send specifications to contractors and designers to facilitate a seamless design. If requested, SDC can do a pre-delivery inspection to check electrical, plumbing and cabinet cutouts. This helps facilitate a flawless delivery and installation.

David started SDC Appliances so that he can best service his customers. Glickman maintains the “small company feel” so that SDC can offer the superior services his customers expect and deserve.
